Minister Dr. Konrad Wolf attentively viewed the information on the project “Sprachtreff- for integration in the countryside”. This happened on the 16th volunteer day, which took place on August 25, 2019 in Bad Hönningen.

Together with Prime Minister Malu Dreyer and other federal and state delegates Minister Wolf came to the booth hosted by the Protestant public libraries. There, in addition to the many other offers of the libraries, they presented their work on integration. Multilingual books, but also books on job-related language acquisition, were available for the many visitors to view and were very well received.

The visitors were informed about the two EU-funded projects. Similarly, the Minister of Science, Education and Culture Konrad Wolf, who’s already familiar with the project “Rooms for Language – Libraries for Integration” and has now been informed about the follow-up project “Sprachtreff – for integration in the countryside” and its goals.

Minister Wolf was very pleased with this project and the opportunities that low-threshold EU funding with volunteers could offer in working with immigrants.
